Inventory Control & Risk Manager
Applications are currently being invited for the position of Inventory Control & Risk Manager in the Operations Department. Reporting to the Manager Ground Safety & Support Services the successful candidate will be responsible for the protection of company assets and improve profitability by developing and implementing security and safety programs for employees. The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving the implementation of fraud management rules and processes and thorough analysis of trends and exceptions for the speedy detection and intervention of dishonesty and develop ways to detect shrinkage, noncompliance with corporate procedures and policies and security violations, and drive through programs to prevent repeat occurrences.
Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:
Responsibility for driving compliance with all loss prevention controls and procedures across all functions of the business
Developing and implementing plans and policies, procedures and systems to prevent the loss of assets
Leading and managing of a team of Inventory Control & Risk, Loss Prevention Specialists that are focused on function specific control and loss prevention
Determining risk exposure or potential liability and develop risk control measures – with full accountability for product controls
Analysing discrepancies that are identified and work cross functionally with senior management to implement actions plans to address discrepancies
Recommending process changes / new controls as appropriate that further reduce shrinkage, driving through the implementation of these controls
Reporting regularly to the Executive team on inventory control, risk and loss prevention measures
Supporting the functional areas in the performance of employee searches that are both random and for cause searches
Responsibility of ongoing monitoring of the employee search process and recommending changes if appropriate
Coordinating or conducting internal investigations of employees suspected of internal theft or violations of corporate policies
Identifying areas of losses and develop plans, with key Senior management, to minimise these losses in line with corporate targets
Implementing and overseeing inventory control practices and risk and loss prevention measures at other non-core locations
Liaising with Law Enforcement Authorities as required
Verifying correct use and maintenance of physical security systems, such as CCTV or alarms.

To be considered for the role of Inventory Control & Risk Manager, candidates must meet the following:
Extensive experience in loss prevention and investigations with a relevant qualification in security risk management
Experience in Implementing Inventory control measures across all functions to prevent inventory loss and associated risks
Ability to establish relevant contacts and to work cooperatively within the law enforcement community, with discretion and professionalism and to maintain confidentiality at all times
Excellent analytical skills with ability to read & understand financial information
Proven leadership and management skills, with experience conducting legal or ethical investigations
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of other IT applications
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU
Current unrestricted worldwide passport
Provide 3 verifiable references
Able to pass a strict airportsecurity vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in
Hold a current full clean driving licence
Possess and be able to demonstrate the key competencies and skills outlined below
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
A knowledge of the legal obligations surrounding auditing procedures and compliance

Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly proficient in use of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
