Applications are currently being invited for the role of Revenue Analyst  in the Network Revenue Department. Reporting to the Route Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue and guest targets by managing seat inventory allocations on an assigned portfolio of Aer Lingus flights.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:

• Achieving the route portfolio’s revenue targets through maximising revenue per seat with particular emphasis on steering guests to low demand flights/days and driving yield improvements on high demand flights/days
• Monitoring inventory on all assigned flights and taking appropriate action to achieve an optimal revenue outcome
• Creating, maintaining and monitoring reports analysing both historic and future data
• Assisting in forecasting guests, yield and revenue at various levels in order to highlight opportunities for improvement
• Continuously analysing the impact of competitor pricing, scheduling and promotional behaviour on passenger demand for the route portfolio
• Identifying and recommending capacity deployment opportunities to support overall network revenue optimisation targets
• Enhancing existing inventory management templates
• Utilising internal tools and external research to develop market profiles for the route portfolio
• Coordinating with Pricing and Marketing to develop comprehensive revenue management strategies and tactical plans for the route portfolio
• Supporting the Sales team in preparing price quotes for Group and Tour Operator business
• Contributing to the ongoing development of new revenue streams and maximising the return on existing revenue streams
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the revenue management department’s expertise. This includes participating and contributing in training, reviews and workshops
• Assisting with the management of other routes as requested, and deputising for the Route Manager when called upon
• Supporting operational and other commercial areas during times of unusual disruption

To be considered for the role of Revenue Analyst, candidates must meet the following:

Essential Criteria:

• A 3rd level qualification in Business/Accounting/Commerce/Engineering/Science or relevant work experience
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting data
• Experience of presenting information to senior management and other stakeholders
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in systems and technology
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Eligible to live and work in the EU
• Current unrestricted worldwide passport
• Be in possession or be able to obtain an airside security pass
• Possess and be able to demonstrate the key competencies and skills outlined below

*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries

Key Competencies / Skills Required:

• Well developed IT skills including experience with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation packages
• Self motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility
• Highly numerate and strong organisational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability of working efficiently and effectively under pressure, highly motivated and adaptable to change
• Focused attitude to work with the ability to use time effectively and plan tasks to be completed in a timely and responsible manner
• An enthusiastic team member with a flexible and positive attitude to work
• Ability to accurately identify expected deliverables from stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include proven report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in systems and technology
• Strong reporting skills
