Aer Lingus seeks enthusiastic Guest Service Agents to join our expanding team.

We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy dealing with and helping the general public to join our Guest Services team at Aer Lingus. These positions will be part-time fixed-term (minimum 30 hours) positions and will be required until Autumn 2018. However, you may be required to work additional hours.

Our Guests are extremely important to us and we want them to feel that way at every stage of their journey with us.  We know that this journey can be made even better when they encounter warm smiles and friendly, efficient service from the moment they enter the airport and at every touch point along the way.

Our Guest Service Agents assist our Guests from Check-In to the Boarding Gate and when they arrive back in the Arrivals lounge.

The hourly rate of pay will be €13.59 (inclusive of shift pay).

Holding a valid Dublin Airside Access permit would be advantageous.

Duties/Responsibilities:
To provide a welcome service to our Guests at Check in  
Provide the highest standard of Guest service in an operational environment
Ensure all Health & Safety and Security policies are adhered to
Perform consistently within the team to ensure our service and punctuality standards are met
To problem solve on site issues which may impact on our Guest experience at Dublin Airport. 
Assist Guests during flight irregularities, co-ordinating communication with affected Guests to ensure Guest experience remains positive. 

To be considered for a position as an Aer Lingus Guest Service Agent, applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:

Essential Criteria:
Experience in a customer service/sales environment
Be at least 18 years of age at the closing date of this advert
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Willing to work a range of shift duties in a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation (Weekend only rosters also available) Shift length can vary between 4 and 10 hours.
Be prepared to adhere to all Aer Lingus uniform standards – no visible tattoos or body piercings in uniform
Possession and demonstration of the key competencies outlined below
Pass a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process
Provide verifiable references
Eligible to live and work in the E.U.
Current unrestricted worldwide passport


*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country.  If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries

Computer literate with good attention to detail
A strong attendance and time-keeping record

Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience as a Customer/Guest Service Agent
Ability to speak a second European language
