Are you interested in growing your career with Ireland’s only 4 star airline? We are looking for a Senior UX Architect to join our growing Digital Experience Team. We’re the department that researches, designs and optimises performance across all digital channels, delivering experiences that deliver almost 80% of revenue as well as industry leading guest experience. As Senior UX Architect you will work across a multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with Business Analysis, UX/UI, Conversion and Content teams, as well as liaising with Commercial and Technical stakeholders.
The role requires excellent research and insight gathering, project management and communication skills and a broad understanding of all aspects of user experience from user research to writing UI requirements. Integral to the role is the requirement to understand commercial objectives, guest objectives, and ensure high quality solutions are delivered that adheres to industry best practice and corporate guidelines.

Your role:
Identifying Voice of Guest and Commercial Objectives and measures for projects to steer direction, and better customer interaction ensuring repeat purchases
Planning and conducting user research, surveys, competitive benchmarking, and heuristic analysis
Delivering User Insights reports with clear recommended direction and actionable tasks
Using personas, scenarios, user tasks and flows
Applying user centered design practices pursuing a cohesive user experience across all digital media
Developing ideas and concept through early prototyping, user testing and review
Designing and develop key components for enhancement of and mobile to increase conversation and ensure a better customer experience for everyone
Creating, managing, recruiting and running user testing and validation sessions on a monthly basis
Writing specific rules and logic requirements alongside wireframes, to hand over to designers and developers
Collaborating cross-functionally with Aer Lingus and with external partners to ensure the delivery of best-practice solutions

Your qualifications & key criteria:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in User Research, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or related disciplines
At least 3 – 5 years proven experience in User Experience Research field
At least 2 years’ experience of recruiting participants,  managing and running ethnographic or user research and insight projects, identifying objectives, reporting and recommended steer
At least 2 years’ experience of managing and running user-testing objectives, test-scripts, recruitment, moderation, documentation, reports. Experience on moderated remote user testing a plus
Strong communication skills: ability to present in a concise and articulate manner to other stakeholders
Demonstration of user-centred-design, including user-research, persona and scenario creation, wireframing, testing and reporting
Deep familiarity of research typical software such as Usabilla, Loop 11, UserZoom, Qualatrics
Deep familiarity of prototyping in typical software such as Axure, Invision
Hands-on experience of responsive websites
User-research, analysis and reporting
A creative thinker, paired a strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; sound organizational, negotiating and decision making skills
A fantastic knowledge of web, desktop and mobile design, information architecture, and usability principles and best practices
Technical and commercial understanding of analytics, and ability to influence business decisions
Task-flow creation, wireframe mock-up and prototyping for desktop, tablet and mobile including mobile apps
Ability and drive to learn new technologies, tools and processes
Ability to work independently or as a part of an inter-disciplinary team
Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work closely with Designers, Product Owners and Developers
Experience in working with external partners and agencies
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU
Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
Provide 3 verifiable references
Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year back ground check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in
Possess and be able to demonstrate the key competencies and skills

*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
