We’re the department that provides the entire Aer Lingus Maintenance and Engineering Department with the latest Aircraft Technical Data and IT Solutions. We ensure Aircraft are maintained to the highest standard while embracing new technologies. We are continually evolving through the introduction of new systems and procedures, especially in the areas of digital documentation and mobility. Based in Dublin Airport and reporting to the Manager of Technical Systems, you will have responsibility for enabling the business to maximise the benefits of existing and future AMOS functionality and to keep business process up-to-date and in line with developing AMOS processes.

Continually provide the Maintenance and Engineering business with expert advice and direction on how best to implement and use AMOS functionality.
Continually work with the business to streamline all AMOS Business Processes using AMOS best practices and functionality.
Managing business processes changes and provide AMOS training to all areas of the business.
Managing cross-departmental projects to implement new AMOS functionality including Digital Signatures, AMOS Mobile and Electronic Technical Logs.
Keeping up-to-date with AMOS developments and advise the business during all phases of implementing new versions of AMOS.
Managing all functional change requests from the business including facilitating discussions with Swiss, developing details functional specifications, co-ordinating testing and implementation.
To be considered for the role of AMOS Evolution Specialist, candidates must meet the following:
Your qualifications & key criteria:
Expert up-to-date knowledge of the AMOS system with 5+ years’ experience in an AMOS Expert, Implementation or Training role.
Excellent project management skills.
Ability to prioritise work & meet tight deadlines.
Good interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills, and capable of dealing with people at all levels, both within & outside Aer Lingus.
Ability to work on own initiative, whilst contributing effectively as part of a team.
Eligible to live and work in the EU
Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
Provide 3 verifiable references
Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year back ground check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
