Translate business objectives into technology solutions
Focus on integrating various parts of a project into one cohesive solution that solves a larger technical problem(s), i.e. creating solutions that span multiple teams and functional areas
Create and be responsible for Solution Designs for D&M including redesigning APIs and components as part of Delivery Transformation initiatives
Review solution designs provided by third parties ensuring alignment with EI strategy, principle and standards
Communicate vision and designs to all stakeholders
Analyse problems and structure solutions for complex technology implementations
Contribute to IT strategy, architecture management, governance, technology evaluations and be instrumental in the technology decision making process
Responsible for Enterprise Architecture compliance at the portfolio architecture level
Consulted for input on project estimation
Support accurate project progress reporting, providing status & outlook information as required throughout the project
Your qualifications & key criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent formal training
10+ years of work experience in multiple technology disciplines
Experience in a solution architect role working closely with Designers, Product Owners and Developers with a primary background in software development
Strong Design knowledge, including API design principles, SOA and similar design techniques
Experience working within Architectural frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, IASA or hold equivalent certification
In depth experience of full software lifecycle management
Strong communications skills, both documentary and verbal, from deep technical through to business presentations at executive level
Experience working with Agile frameworks and processes
Ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Strong stakeholder relationship management with ability to negotiate scope / approach of projects
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU
Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
Provide 3 verifiable references
Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year back ground check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
