Digital and Mobile- eCommerce Department - Dublin

Applications are currently being invited for a Business Support Analyst that is looking to grow their career in eCommerce Support. The successful candidate will report to the eCommerce Support Team Lead. 
We are a team of 9 people who are working for the Aer Lingus digital platform as business support, subject matter experts as well as being involved on all major digital and mobile projects. We are required to have a breadth of knowledge on products and functionality across the entire Aer Lingus digital platform. Your role:

The role has both a technical and commercial focus with specific skills around analysing support items, defect prioritisation, product support and knowledge transfer and communication, tracking and escalation.

After 3 months:
You will be supporting current team members in tasks
You will have a good understanding of the structure and processes of the department
You will be tasked with daily duties for the different support channels

After 6 months in addition to the above:
You will start to work as an subject matter expert on projects
You will facilitate data management tasks such as business rules data manipulation
You will be support project releases onto our digital platforms
You will executing test cases as part of data manipulate and release support

After 12 months plus
You will be the eCommerce Support Ambassador by providing valuable inputs and insights into digital projects
You will be a fully functioning, self-sufficient team member who will be responsible for the support of the commercial strategic goals across the digital platform as well as ongoing production support

To be considered for the role of Business Support Analyst, candidates must meet the following:

Your qualifications & key criteria:

Previous experience leading a cross functional team
Proven experience in implementing robust support end to end processes
Ability to create and implement a platform level strategy
Previous experience in communicating between commercial teams and technical teams
A strong approach to process and procedures
Experience in managing 3rd party vendors and dealing with challenges
Clear understanding of Aer Lingus’ commercial position and an excellent appreciation of the airline policies and procedures in an Internet environment
At least one years experience in a 24x7 support environment
An enthusiastic team member with a flexible and adaptable attitude in providing support across a range of ecommerce activities
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to present facts clearly and objectively
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage effective working relationships at all levels both internally and externally
Self motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility
Extensive and experienced strong problem-solving skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work inthe EU
Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in
Current unrestricted worldwide passport

*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
