We’re the department that support the delivery of a class leading digital platform offering within Aer Lingus across online and mobile enabling a class leading customer experience with a high converting proposition. Our digital platform is now the primary sales and servicing channel of the airline and is our biggest customer reaching and most cost effective channel. Based in Dublin Airport and reporting to the Programme Lead Business Analyst, you will have responsibility for the technical and commercial focus with specific skills relating to performing as a business analyst on software delivery projects and contributing to the team development as part of the Business Analyst Community.

Leading and managing individually assigned projects, goals and business initiatives.
Understanding impacts and blockers on the project and defining solutions to support the Programme and Project management team and other functional leads on the project.
Building strong professional relationships with key Product and Business Owners. Understanding their goals and business strategies.
Understanding the impact of concurrent and future projects running in your programme of work.
Contributing to at least one key area a year on the Business Analyst Community.
Ensuring agreed SDLC processes are being adhered to on your Programme. Identifying gaps and raising processes or artifacts to be included for discussion as part of the Business Community.
Supporting initiatives that trial artifacts or processes on your projects/programmes.
Attending workshops and support colleagues in change process.
Reporting back to the Business Analyst Team Lead.
Flagging any issues/blockers preventing you or team members from completing your work in a timely or satisfactory manner.
Contributing and collaborating on ways to improve Business Analyst team exposure and ways of working
Your qualifications & key criteria:
An enthusiastic team member with a flexible and adaptable attitude in providing support across a range of ecommerce activities.
Proven experience in implementing strong process driven approaches.
Strong commercial and product strategy awareness.
Experience in managing 3rd party vendors and dealing with challenges this brings.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and commitment to producing high quality output to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to present facts clearly and objectively. Must include business requirements/scope statements, epics and user stories.
Experience facilitating workshops with multiple stakeholders.
Experience of waterfall and agile ceremonies. Must understand role of BA during delivery/implementation and QA phases.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage effective working relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
Self motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility.
Extensive and experienced strong problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Eligible to live and work in the EU.
Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
Provide 2 verifiable references.
Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year back ground
check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in.
*If you are a non-Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
