Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will be responsible for ensuring all A320 Family aircraft maintenance is accomplished in accordance with the IAA approved aircraft maintenance program, and to the required regulatory and Aer Lingus standards.

Leading Planning Team to ensure continuing airworthiness to A320Ceo and A321Neo
Managing performance of the A32F Planning Team, including EASA human factors principles.
Promoting safety culture; hazard reporting, including self-reporting
Input to Base Maintenance Planning budget estimations.
Liaising with Materials Department to ensure all spares are available for planned maintenance.
Liaising with the fleet planning team to ensure aircraft are operating on the correct lines of flying to meet operational demands.
Creating a resource plan to ensure adequate levels of A32F Planning personnel are available to support the continuing airworthiness functions as per EASA part M and to support Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance and the Maintenance Control Centre.
Ensuring adequate levels of Training are provided to ensure continued competency of Planning personnel.
Be available out of office hours to respond to queries from the Maintenance Control Centre.
Ensuring internal and contractor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) are in place and regularly monitored and correction interventions made when required
Reporting all of A32F Planning issues to Head of Planning
To be considered for the role of Planning Team Lead candidates must meet the following criteria:
Your qualifications & key criteria:
At least 3 years’ experience working in an airline maintenance-planning department or a degree/diploma in an aviation related discipline
General Familiarisation or Type Course on A320 or A330 family aircraft
Experience with respect to SMS (Safety Management Systems) and compliance with Part-M and Part-145 regulations
Able to pass a 5 year security background check*(or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU *
Current unrestricted worldwide passport
Provide two verifiable references
Able to pass a five year security background check
People management, project management experience
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
