The Lead Business Analyst will be responsible for working with the Business Owner to translate the business vision into a compelling digital product that drives user engagement and revenue growth. The successful individual will lead a team of business analysts to define high level requirements, translate this requirement into user stories, and then work with the digital delivery team to build great products.

You will lead the business analysis effort on a programme of work including your own and other business analysts’ efforts.
You will engage with key stakeholders, programme managers, project managers and other members of the Business Analyst Leadership team to ensure work is correctly assigned and expertly delivered.
You will support defining business analysis best practices and show leadership to ensure all business analysts implement these.
You will line manage other business analysts in order to ensure agreed standards of work and career development are maintained.
Assisting business users, project managers and Digital & Mobile leadership in optimising the scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects.
You will partner with business users and develop detailed requirements specifications to ensure clarity of project scope.
You will analyse the impact of change requests and ensure that the correct procedures are followed to support changes to scope.
Supporting traceability from requirements through to QA.
Work within project timelines and demonstrate commitment to on time delivery of key priorities.
In addition to project work you will also manage individually assigned leadership projects, goals and business initiatives.
Communicating requirements and issues with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure awareness of key business analysis deliverable status at all times.
Your qualifications & key criteria:
IT / Computer Science Third-Level Qualification
Business Analysis / Agile or Project Management Certification
5+ years of experience, running complex programs of work (Waterfall and Agile)
Scope Statement and Business requirements document experience.
User Story and Agile ceremony experience.
Experience of process design and improvement.
Experience as a team lead with proven ability to build, motivate and support a high performing team
Strong influencing skills, particularly with senior executives.
Proven ability to drive and manage change.
Strong Communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to present facts clearly and objectively.
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility.
Extensive and experienced strong problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU
*If you are a non-Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
