Role Title: Shorthaul Pricing Analyst
Network Revenue - Pricing Department
Applications are invited for the position of short haul Pricing Analyst based in the Network Revenue - Pricing Department in Dublin. The short haul Pricing Analyst will work closely with Revenue Management and other departments to ensure that short haul pricing activity is in line with our strategic objective of maximising unit revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing all short haul pricing, managing promotional activity from a pricing perspective and liaising with AerClub and Partners teams on pricing related issues.
This role is essential to ensure timely delivery of promotional activity, AerClub pricing inputs and delay in agreement SPAs with OAL Partners.
Develop, implement and manage all pricing, including recommending appropriate fares and taxes
Communicate promotional and pricing activity to Revenue Management, Marketing, the Web Team, Corporate Affairs and Sales
Document, analyse and measure the success of pricing initiatives
Determine and implement optimal pricing structure taking into consideration corporate policy and RM strategy.
Proactively evaluate and measure competitor pricing, including strategic market changes and recommend appropriate response
Liaise with AerClub team on all pricing related issues, incorporating AerClub offers into promotional activity.
Management pricing element of special prorate agreements (SPAs) with our Partners team
To be considered for the role of Shorthaul Pricing Analyst candidates must meet the following criteria:
Your qualifications & key criteria:
A 3rd level qualification in Business / Commerce or relevant work experience
Strong commercial awareness combined with good working knowledge of Pricing concepts
Experience in analysing and interpreting data
Experience of presenting information to senior management and other stakeholders
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in systems and technology
Proven numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Well developed IT skills including experience with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation packages
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present facts and opinions articulately & objectively
Ability to work independently, make informed decisions quickly, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Knowledge of ATPco and Astral desirable
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU
Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
Able to provide 2 verifiable references
Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in i.e. Dublin)
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries.
