The successful candidate must have the ability to live and work in the USA.

The Technical Support Engineer will provide onsite and remote technical support for users, computer systems and software. Take a look below!

Your role:
Prioritize, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve or escalate any systems issue in a timely manner.
Provide end user technical support across all systems and devices.
Maintain and troubleshoot virtual private network (VPN) connections of Remote users. 
Provide application support for hosted third party or onsite applications consumed by end users. 
Perform moves, adds, and changes across all data and voice systems. 
Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, physical and virtual servers, storage devices, monitor disk usage and backup and restore all back office systems. 
Install, configure and maintain Windows Desktop and Server environment.
Perform Data Center work such as cable patching, rack and stack and break-fix.
Interact with internal and/or external escalation resources to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Interact with end-users and all levels of management in developing solutions to problems or creatingefficiencies pertaining to any processes that impact the business.
Maintain security environment relative to corporate policy.
Keep documentation up to date and standards for use and control. 
Train and develop end users to better utilize applications as needed. 
Provide on-call support and weekend coverage as needed (approximately 12 weekends annually).
Travel to NA airport locations as needed. 
Perform other duties as assigned.

To be considered for the role of Technical Support Engineer candidates must meet the following criteria:

Your qualifications & key criteria: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years related experience.
Experience supporting or deploying Windows 2008, 2012, or 2016 servers in a virtual environment. (Required)
Citrix Administration (Required)
VMWare/Microsoft Certified a plus.
Proven working experience in providing technical support.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
Expert knowledge of:
  • Windows Server from 2008 to current.
  • Active Directory, GPO, User Profile Management, File Sharing, DHCP, DNS.
  • TCIP/IP, routing and subnets, VLANs and Layer 3 Networking.
  • Citrix environment.
  • Windows 7 and 10.
  • Microsoft Office suite.
  • Client/Server Printing.
Ability to administer VMware virtual infrastructure including vCenter; Storage Arrays and Veeam backup.
Strong knowledge of Exchange.
Familiarity with Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls and PBX Administration a plus.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, attention to details. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
Have the ability to learn as you go. 
Highly self-motivated.
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to prioritize.

Working Conditions 
Mon-Fri however flexibility required for night/weekend coverage. 
Ability to travel out of state when necessary. 
On call responsibilities include weekend coverage (approximately 12x per year).
