Reporting to the Manager Training & Standards (MTS) the Flight Crew Training & Delivery Manager will liaise directly with the Head of Flight Crew Planning and with Manpower Planning. This role will form a bridge between the Flight Operations Training Department and the Production Planning Department. The role will coordinate the planning of all aspects of training and checking and the effective delivery of all courses. This will include coordination with Manpower Planning in the development of long-term plans including the plotting of command development courses, command upgrade courses, instructor training & deployment and inter-fleet movements etc. This position is based in Dublin.

Medium and long-term planning of all training courses and events including command development
Coordination with Crew Planning and Manpower Planning on required Crew and Instructor/LSC numbers (including coordination in the development of appropriate budget and planning provisions)
Development of implementation plans to achieve the Crew and Instructor/LSC requirement of the Airline in advance of the applicable demand
Coordination of the deployment of the relevant training plans
Monitoring the delivery of training in the live environment and analysis of planned vs actual performance including re-planning and re-forecasting as required
Day to day coordination and management of training issues in the ‘live’ environment
Development and documentation of training related Business Cases and Memos to the Senior Management Team
Development of appropriate training related work practices for industrial coordination
General administrative support and various other tasks as required by the MTS
Other duties as allocated by the MTS
To be considered for the position of Training Planning & Delivery Manager, candidates must meet the following:
Your qualifications & key criteria:
Relevant 3rd level Management / Business Related qualification OR equivalent suitable experience (ideally in an airline environment)
Excellent data analytical skills with strong capability and experience with excel, word and similar applications.
Basic knowledge of pilot training requirements for initial and recurrent training
Comfortable working with other relevant IT applications (e.g. AIMS)
Comfortable with learning new tasks
Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to effectively communicate at all levels up to Director Level with the ability to see and deliver the ‘big picture’ in a complex environment
Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders and to influence stakeholders appropriately
Robust relationship management, capable of working with all levels within the organisation by building effective relationships
An effective team player with proven ability to build, motivate and support a high performing team
Highly motivated, driven, pragmatic and completely focused on delivery for the benefit of the business
Strong listening, analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
Current unrestricted worldwide passport
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Eligible to live and work in the EU
Bein possession of or be able to obtain an airside security pass
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
