Applications are currently being invited for the role of Route Demand Analyst within the Revenue Management Department. The Route Demand Analyst will be part of the Revenue Management team, with the primary goal of maximising revenue by managing the inventory settings in order to meet revenue and load factor targets.
Reporting to a Revenue Manager, the Route Demand Analyst will also work with the Pricing, Sales, Network Planning, Marketing and CCC Duty Station departments

Your role:

Manage and implement strategies across a portfolio of routes to meet budget revenue targets

Monitor inventory and demand on all assigned flights, responding with appropriate actions in real time to achieve optimal revenue outcomes. These will include:
o Driving load factor on low demand flights and days
o Driving yield improvements on high demand flights and days
o Tactically pushing under-performing routes
o Recommending pricing adjustments or promotional requirements

Utilise the available systems and data to the fullest to:
o Create/Maintain trading and route performance reports and presentations
o Track and analyse passenger demand by various segments
o Monitor/Report the performance of the post departure flights
o Forecast traffic, yield and revenue in order to highlight opportunities for yield improvements, or to highlight the requirement for promotional initiatives
o Analyse the impact on demand from changes in competition, schedules & fares

Enhance existing inventory management templates to deliver improved future performance through the analysis of historical and current data
Maintain detailed and timely awareness of relevant competitor pricing, scheduling and promotional behaviour
Work closely with pricing to develop coordinated revenue management strategies and tactics
Identify and recommend capacity deployment opportunities to support the overall network revenue optimisation targets and revise inventory position accordingly
Support the Sales team in preparing quotes for Group and Tour Operator business
Contribute to the ongoing development of new revenue streams and maximising the return on existing streams
Drive positive change in your role at every opportunity, enhancing expertise within the department and building for the future
Assist with the management of other routes as requested
Support operational and other commercial areas in disruption situations


To be considered for the position of Route Demand Analyst, candidates must meet the following:


Your qualifications & key criteria:

Highly numerate and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail accuracy
Well-developed IT skills including experience with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation packages
Strong reporting and/or forecasting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include proven report writing and presentation skills
Experience in balancing day-to-day tasks while contributing to on-going projects
An enthusiastic team member with a flexible and positive attitude to work
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility
Focused attitude to work with the ability to use time effectively and plan tasks to be completed in a timely and responsible manner
Proven ability of working efficiently and effectively under pressure
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the market as well as internal updates to systems and technology
Ability to accurately identify expected deliverables from stakeholders

If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
